.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n And it's because this week the micro-donation campaign that we devised for the association GosSOS and that has taken place over the past twelve months has ended.<\/p>\n\n\n\n .<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n GosSOS, in addition to managing the shelter for abandoned dogs waiting to be adopted, also has a network of foster homes for animals with special needs, either because of their advanced age or because of a health problem. And we know they do a great job that needs funding to care for the dozens of dogs that pass through their facilities each year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n .<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n They are also one of the entities that benefit from Andorra Telecom's social SMS. Taking advantage of this service, we proposed to start a sponsorship campaign for dogs in foster care. And how did it work? The godparents supported one of the dogs in the campaign by making a micro-donation via SMS of one euro a week. And the response was very good: more than 90 people have been godparents of one of the dogs during the 47 weeks that the action has lasted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n .<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n And the result has been that between godparents and specific donors, 2,885 SMS, 2,885 micro-donations have been received which have helped the Sheik, the Chiqui, the Chispa, the Pca and the Pitu to have been very well looked after! A good example that if we all add up, great results are achieved!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
