Foster or raise children, when would it cost?

A few weeks ago, the notebook "The cost of parenting in Andorra - 2023" was presented together with the Sociology Group of Andorra Research + Innovation and the collaboration of UNICEF Andorra Committee. It estimated that the average monthly cost was 747 euros per child, although it varied according to age groups.

During the press conference, it was put on the table that it would be difficult to have more than one child. We were already aware that it couldn't be multiplied by two, but we wanted to find a formula to estimate it.

That same week, the Government updated the financial compensation that foster families will receive from now on, and here different bonuses are provided if more than one child is fostered, if the child is a teenager or if he lives with a disability.
