"We can all be potential philanthropists"

We share with you the interview that Pilar Candel of Altaveu Andorra did with our founder and director, Marta Alberch:

"Marta Alberch has been related to the world of solidarity since

very small Although he started working in banking, his life

she made a 360º turn and was fully committed to the causes

social workers at the head of Unicef. In February he left his position and now

starts the Andtropia project.

The Andtropia project comes from Marta Alberch's desire to continue making social seeds in the country. Looking for an area that was neglected, he discovered that there was no one in Andorra who encouraged philanthropy. With his experience at the head of Unicef and his knowledge of the world of solidarity, Alberch begins his journey at the head of this new company.

-How do you start in the world of social assistance?

.

From a young age, we did solidarity initiatives at school and I always signed up. I had also been a Red Cross volunteer at the age of 16, I was one of the youngest. When I started working, it's true that I didn't have that much time, but whenever there were charity issues, I tried to do my bit. I did an international volunteering course and although I was already a partner of Unicef since its foundation, around 2006 I was offered to join the board and in 2010 I became the director.
