.

The University of Andorra (UdA) has opened the pre-registration period for the new training for professionals and volunteers in the third sector: the Series of seminars in Management of non-profit organizations. The procedure is easily formalized through the web uda.ad, where one appears pre-registration form on line.

The associative NGO sector in Andorra is very rich and varied and mainly led by volunteers. As the Foundation of Solidarity and Voluntariat of the Valencian Community (Fundar) declares: "the need to face new challenges at every moment demands from NGOs an economic effort that sometimes they cannot afford, slowing down the improvement of the qualification of their teams". This training aims to be the tool that facilitates the work carried out by these professionals and volunteers in the country.

Under the academic responsibility of our founder and director, Marta Alberch, and with the support of the Government of Andorra, the aim of the cycle of seminars organized by the University of Andorra is to respond to the needs expressed by the participants of the program of training from the previous course, opening it up to new professionals working in this sector, with an innovative and creative orientation and from a practical perspective applied to real cases.

.

The program is aimed both at professionals or volunteers in the sector of non-profit organizations and at people interested in supplementing their personal training to intervene in social projects in Andorra and/or international cooperation as a tool for social transformation.

.

The theme of the six seminars that make up the cycle has been chosen thanks to the comments and evaluations received from the participants in the first edition of the Management Course for NGOs and other non-profit entities that took place last year.

In this way, the program complements that of the previous year, but at the same time it is focused in such a way that it can also be aimed at new participants.

The teaching team is made up of experts and professionals from the different areas that will be covered, such as the financial and legal area, people management or communication.

..

The registration fee for the seminars varies between 30 and 40 euros, depending on the number of teaching hours. The different independent trainings will take place face-to-face between November 15, 2022 and May 17, 2023.

.

As Marta Alberch explains, "NGOs often lack specific training for the third sector and this course is a good opportunity to break this trend and share experiences with professionals and colleagues who work for non-profit organizations or collaborate At the same time, the training started last year is supplemented in subjects that it has been deemed necessary to expand and devote more hours to.

The series of seminars is assigned to the UNESCO Chair of the University of Andorra.
